The layout makes it easy for staff to communicate with each other and to provide excellent care to our elderly residents. We have a very good local reputation and a great record of inspections over the years with the various regulatory bodies.
Owned and run by a local family Hillcrest House has 3 Nurse Managers heading up an experienced nurse team. There is a well trained, caring team of Care Assistants and these are supported with Adminstration, Catering, Domestic and Maintenance staff. This allows the Nurses and Carers to concentrate on the day to day care.
There is easy access from Barbican Road and free parking onsite. Uniforms are provided and regular updating is provided for all staff.

A unique opportunity has arisen for the position of a Registered Manager in our purpose-built nursing and residential home. We have 2 Registered Managers who work together alongside the Responsible Individual. Established in 1989, we are a family run business. The home is divided into a General Nursing/Residential wing and a specialist dementia care facility which specialises in long term and palliative care for people living with dementia. A Registered Manager leads each unit. Due to forthcoming retirement, we are currently looking to recruit a Registered Manager for our dementia care facility. Rated outstanding for Caring in our last CQC inspection, our vision is to continue in our quest to achieve excellence in all areas. We are looking for someone who shares our vision and passion for care. You will need to be energetic, motivated and dynamic, with recent experience as a Registered Manager or similar post, and with experience in mental health care. You will be leading and working alongside an established, enthusiastic, highly professional and progressive nursing team, whose focus is on the provision of compassionate and person-centred care, whilst embracing the principles of citizenship and personhood at all times. There is also a full golf course at Bindown, 3 miles away. The market town of Liskeard is 8 miles away and the city of Plymouth, with its main shopping facilities, is a 30 minute drive with access to the cross channel ferry to Brittany and Santander. The Looe Valley railway line takes you to Liskeard Station for national train links.
